Jelgavā top ledus skulptūras

Gatavojoties festivālam laicīgi, pirms ledus skulptūru konkursa tiek izgatavoti papildus ledus tēlniecības objekti. Viens no tiem ir „Koskenkorva” ledus bārs, pie kura darbs tika uzsākts otrdien, 27. janvārī. Ledus bāru kā vikingu kuģi veido divi tēlnieki – lietuvietis Donatas Mockus un latviete Inese Valtere, Jelgavā ierodoties uzreiz pēc lidojuma no Krievijas pilsētas Permas, kur Sniega un ledus čempionātā „Ziemas Vernisāža 2015” ar sniega skulptūru „Planēta Nr. Zeme” ieguva otro vietu. Jāatzīmē, ka abi mākslinieki ir vieni no pasaules čempioniem ledus un sniega mākslā!

Papildus festivāla darbiem, tiek radītas arī ledus foto skulptūras, kā Donatas veidotā ragana, uz kuras slotas varēs „pavizināties”, „Frostiart Baltic” komandas nešpetnie velniņi, trīs sivēntiņi un vilks, bet Harbinas 31. Ledus un sniega čempionāta uzvarētāja, Kārļa Īles foto skulptūra būs pārsteigums.

Pavisam šogad festivālā piedalās 30 mākslinieki no Latvijas, Lietuvas, Krievijas, Polijas, Somijas, Dānijas, Serbijas un Francijas, kuri vairāk kā 70 tonnas ledus, kuru saldēt sāka jau pērn martā, pārvērtīs „Ledus pasakā”.

Ar 3. februāri tiek piedāvāta iespēja sekot līdzi darba procesiem tiešraidē. Skulptūru parks apmeklētājiem tiks atvērts no 6. līdz 8. februārim, kad skatītāju vērtējumam tiks nodotas konkursa skulptūras, ledus bārs un foto objekti.
