17.janvārī Pasaules ekonomikas foruma laikā Davosā Valsts prezidents Egils Levits tikās ar Polijas prezidentu Andžeju Dudu un Lietuvas prezidentu Gitanu Nausēdu. Prezidenti bija vienisprātis, ka nozīmīgā ikgadējā pasaules līderu tikšanās, kas beidzot pēc divu gadu pārtraukuma noris pilnā apmērā, apliecina, cik liela bijusi Krievijas kļūda, uzsākot agresīvu karu Ukrainā, un ka Krievija ir zaudējusi visos aspektos.

Prezidenti apmainījās domām par atbalsta sniegšanu Ukrainai, kas jāturpina tikpat intensīvi kā līdz šim gan ekonomiskā, gan politiskā, gan militārā ziņā, īpaši uzsverot smagā bruņojuma piegādes nepieciešamību, tai skaitā tanku.

Latvijas, Lietuvas un Polijas prezidenti vēlreiz pārrunāja jautājumu par starptautiska tribunāla izveidošanu Krievijas agresijas Ukrainā izmeklēšanai, īpaši apspriežot formātu, kādā to varētu veidot. Prezidenti uzsvēra tribunālu kā vienlaikus juridisku un politisku instrumentu cīņā pret Krievijas agresiju.
