Pastiprina atbildību par nelikumīgu partiju finansēšanu

Lai novērstu politisko partiju nelikumīgu finansēšanu, kas izkropļo godīgas konkurences principus starp politiskajām partijām, Saeima ceturtdien, 26.septembrī, galīgajā lasījumā pieņēma grozījumus Krimināllikumā. Ar tiem samazināts nelikumīgā finansējuma slieksnis, no kura iestājas kriminālatbildība. 

Kā likumprojekta anotācijā atzīmē tā autori, gadījumos, kad politiskās partijas iesaistītas nelikumīga finansējuma saņemšanā, tas mazina sabiedrības uzticēšanos politiskajai sistēmai kopumā. 

Kriminālatbildība iestāsies, ja politiskā organizācija (partija) vai politisko organizāciju (partiju) apvienība būs nelikumīgi finansēta ievērojamā apmērā, proti, ne mazāk kā desmit minimālo mēnešalgu kopsummā (šobrīd – septiņi tūkstoši eiro). Līdz šim kriminālatbildību paredzēja no liela apmēra – 50 minimālo mēnešalgu kopsummas (pašlaik – 35 tūkstoši eiro).

Likums noteic arī atbildību par apzināti nepatiesas diskreditējošas informācijas izgatavošanu vai izplatīšanu, izmantojot dziļviltojuma tehnoloģiju, par valsts amatpersonas amata kandidātu, kuru amatā ievēl, ieceļ vai apstiprina Saeima. Gadījumā, ja tas tiks veikts valsts amatpersonas ievēlēšanas, iecelšanas vai apstiprināšanas amatā procesa laikā, vainīgo sodīs ar brīvības atņemšanu uz laiku līdz pieciem gadiem, īslaicīgu brīvības atņemšanu, probācijas uzraudzību vai sabiedrisko darbu.
