Ierodoties notikuma vietā, ugunsdzēsēji glābēji konstatēja, ka no ceļa nobraukusi un grāvī atrodas smagā automašīna, kas pārvadā liellopus. Notikuma vietā ieradās arī Līvānu vetārsts, kas apskatīja cietušos lopus. Pēc automašīnas vadītāja un liellopu atbrīvošanas, ugunsdzēsēji glābēji veica ceļa braucamās daļas sakārtošanu.
