Nupat Liepājas Simfoniskais orķestris diriģenta Gunta Kuzmas vadībā aizvadījis nu jau par skaistu un dzirkstošu tradīciju gadu mijas svinībās kļuvušo Liepājas Simfonisko Vecgada koncertu. Klausītāji baudīja tango kaislības kopā ar pasaulslaveno akordeonisti Kseniju Sidorovu, jauno un talantīgo vijolnieci Elzu Siliņu un virtuozo dejotāju Artūru Nīgali.

 

Trīs svētku koncertos 28., 29. un 30. decembrī Liepājas koncertzālē “Lielais dzintars” orķestris klausītājus veda ceļojumā uz tālo Argentīnu, kas slavena ar kaislīgiem tango ritmiem un melodijām. Programmas muzikālais kodols bija tango karaļa Astora Pjacollas slavenākie skaņdarbi, ko papildināja Karlosa Gardela, Arturo Markesa, Frenka Anželī, kā arī Džordža Gēršvina tango noskaņās radītā mūzika. Bet pirmatskaņojumu šajā programmā piedzīvoja Artura Maskata Tango “Augusta zvaigznes”.

Daudz skaistu un neaizmirstamu mirkļu Liepājas Simfoniskais orķestris saviem klausītājiem piedāvās arī jaunajā gadā. Starp tiem jau agrā pavasarī gaidāms viens no košākajiem gada notikumiem Liepājā – Liepājas 400-gades Starptautiskais zvaigžņu festivāls.
