Saeima NEPLP amatā ievēlē Ievu Kalderausku

Saeima ceturtdien, 6.februārī, Nacionālās elektronisko plašsaziņas līdzekļu padomes (NEPLP) locekļa amatā ievēlēja līdzšinējo NEPLP priekšsēdētāja vietnieci Ievu Kalderausku. 

Par lēmuma projektu atbildīgās Saeimas Cilvēktiesību un sabiedrisko lietu komisijas priekšsēdētāja Leila Rasima norāda, ka I.Kalderauska padomē sevi ir pierādījusi kā profesionāli, tādējādi viņai būs iespēja turpināt kvalitatīvi veikt iesāktos darbus un stiprināt mūsu mediju telpu. 

I.Kalderauska NEPLP veic elektronisko plašsaziņas līdzekļu, kas sniedz audiovizuālus pakalpojumus pēc pieprasījuma, un video koplietošanas platformu jomas pārraudzību, kā arī īsteno elektronisko plašsaziņas līdzekļu satura pieejamības veicināšanas, komerciālo un sabiedrisko televīziju jomas pārraudzību.

Tāpat I.Kalderauska ir līdzatbildīga ar informatīvās telpas aizsardzību un medijpratības attīstību saistītu jautājumu pārraudzībā, kā arī komerciālo, sabiedrisko un nekomerciālo radio jomas pārraudzībā.

NEPLP locekli amatā pēc Cilvēktiesību komisijas ierosinājuma uz pieciem gadiem ievēlē Saeima. 

Aicinājums izvirzīt kandidatūras NEPLP amatam tika izsludināts, jo 12.februārī beigsies padomes locekles I.Kalderauskas pilnvaru termiņš, kura pati uz šo amatu kandidēja atkārtoti.
