Valsts prezidents: valsts aizsardzības mācība skolās ir ļoti svarīga

2.martā Balvu un Gulbenes novadu apmeklējumu laikā Valsts prezidents Egils Levits devās uz Gulbenes novada vidusskolu, kur piedalījās valsts aizsardzības mācības nodarbībā, tiekoties ar skolēniem un jaunsargu instruktoriem.  

“Valsts aizsardzības mācība skolās ir ļoti svarīga – mums ir nepieciešami pilsoņi, kuri prot aizsargāt savu valsti un kuri saprot valsts nozīmi. Valstij ir jāprot sevi aizsargāt, un ir labi, ka jaunieši saprot, kāpēc valsts ir jāaizsargā. Gulbenes vidusskola ir paraugs valsts aizsardzības mācībai skolās, kas 2024. gadā būs obligātā mācību satura sastāvdaļa visās skolās. Jūs esat paraugs visai Latvijai!” pēc nodarbības norādīja Valsts prezidents Egils Levits.
