Par nelikumīgu cigarešu pārvietošanu robežsargi aiztur astoņas personas

Svētdien, 12. jūlijā, robežsargi sadarbībā ar Valsts policijas amatpersonām Ludzā aizturēja organizētu grupu, kas nodarbojās ar kontrabandas cigarešu pārvietošanu pāri valsts robežai.

Veicot operatīvos pasākumus, Valsts robežsardzes Ludzas pārvaldes robežsargi sadarbībā ar Valsts policijas Latgales reģiona pārvaldes Ludzas iecirkņa Kriminālpolicijas nodaļas amatpersonām aizturēja astoņas personas, kuras nodarbojās ar tabakas izstrādājumu nelikumīgu pārvietošanu pāri valsts robežai. Kopumā robežsargi izņēma 60 000 cigarešu “Premjer” ar Baltkrievijas akcīzes markām.

Uzsākts kriminālprocess pēc Krimināllikuma 221. panta trešās daļas (par tabakas izstrādājumu nelikumīgu uzglabāšanu, pārvietošanu (pārvadāšanu) vai realizāciju, ja to izdarījusi organizēta grupa). Septiņas aizturētās personas atzītas par aizdomās turētām. Divām personām piemērots apcietinājums, bet vēl piecām – ar brīvības atņemšanu nesaistīti drošības līdzekļi. 

Iepriekš minētā kriminālprocesa ietvaros par atbalsta sniegšanu kontrabandas cigarešu pārvietošanā organizētas grupas sastāvā un dienesta stāvokļa ļaunprātīgu izmantošanu, kā arī neizpaužamu ziņu izpaušanu aizturēta viena Valsts robežsardzes amatpersona. Persona atzīta par aizdomās turēto.
