Jaunākajam LTV jauniešu seriālam “Paliec negatīvs” tapusi tituldziesma un mīlīgs videoklips. Dziesmu, kuras estētikā, tāpat kā seriālā, veiksmīgi savīta 1970. gadu stilistika un mūsdienas. “Stay negative, my love” iedziedājis jaunais dziedātājs Toms Kalderauskis, mūziku sarakstījis Edgars Mākens, bet dziesmas tekstu kopīgi veidojusi seriāla režisore Una Rozenbauma un Edgars Mākens.

“Līdzīgi kā pats seriāls, šī dziesma ir kā spēle, kurā apvienojas dažādas ietekmes. Episkā 1970. gadu estrāde ar lielu aranžējumu, minimālistiskā 8-bit spēļu mūzikas estētika, mūsdienu elektronisko instrumentu skaņa, Deivida Bovija dziesmas citāts un tekstā – stāsts par jaunību un dīvainību. Prieks, ka to visu izdevās “savilkt” kopā, kā arī, ka izdevās laba sadarbība ar jauno dziedātāju Tomu Kalderauski,” atklāj dziesmas mūzikas un viens no teksta autoriem Edgars Mākens.

Dziesmu studijā ierakstījuši mūziķi Toms Kalderauskis (balss), Edgars Mākens (elektroniskie instrumenti, ģitāra, piebalsis), Jānis Rubiks (bass). Skaņas ierakstu veicis Krišjānis Geidāns, video montāžas režisore – Sintija Andersone.
