Valsts prezidents: NMPD darbs ir paraugs gatavībai un rīcībai krīžu pārvarēšanā

23.jūlijā Valsts prezidents Edgars Rinkēvičs Rīgā apmeklēja Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienestu (NMPD), lai klātienē tiktos ar dienesta vadību, iepazītos ar NMPD Operatīvās vadības centra darbu, apmeklētu NMPD Kompetenču attīstības centru un tiktos ar NMPD brigāžu darbiniekiem.

“Esmu pagodināts apmeklēt Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienestu, lai klātienē sacītu paldies katram dienesta darbiniekam par viņu augsto profesionalitāti, sagatavotību un darbu, ko dienests nodrošina cauru diennakti ikvienam iedzīvotājam un jebkurā vietā Latvijā. Tieši Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienesta mediķu un atbalsta personāla kvalitatīvs un efektīvs ikdienas darbs nodrošina augstu uzticamības līmeni sabiedrībā un ir paraugs gatavībai un rīcībai krīžu pārvarēšanā. Paldies par varonību, izcilo gatavību un rīcību, ko šo 15 gadu laikā nodrošina Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienesta personāls,” pēc vizītes sacīja Valsts prezidents Edgars Rinkēvičs.

Tikšanās laikā ar NMPD vadību un darbiniekiem Valsts prezidents pārrunāja arī NMPD sadarbību ar citām valsts un pašvaldību institūcijām, piemēram, Nacionālajiem bruņotajiem spēkiem un līdzšinējo darbu pie katastrofu medicīnas sistēmu (KMS) pilnveides. KMS ir valsts civilās aizsardzības sistēmas un nacionālās drošības sistēmas sastāvdaļa. Tās plānošana ir integrēta civilās aizsardzības, nacionālās drošības un citos plānos.
