Dagmāra Beitnere-Le Galla: esam kopā ar tatāriem un visu Ukrainas tautu

“Latvieši ir kopā ar tatāriem un visu Ukrainas tautu. Mums ir kopējas rētas, kas mūs vieno, un mēs iestājamies par jūsu brīvību,” pirmdien, 18.maijā, sacīja Saeimas priekšsēdētājas biedre Dagmāra Beitnere-Le Galla, pieminot Krimas tatāru deportāciju 1944.gadā.

Priekšsēdētājas biedre šodien kopā ar Ukrainas vēstnieku Oleksandru Miščenko Kronvalda parkā simboliski aplaistīja pagājušajā gadā blakus dzejnieka Tarasa Ševčenko piemineklim kopīgi iestādītās Krimas liepas. Neklātienē no Ukrainas ar videozvana starpniecību piedalījās arī Krimas tatāru līderis Refats Čubarovs, kurš pateicās Latvijai par šīs piemiņas uzturēšanu.

Pagājušajā gadā Saeima pieņēma paziņojumu par Krimas tatāru deportāciju 75.gadadienas pieminēšanu un atbalstu Krimas prettiesiskās aneksijas neatzīšanas politikai.
